    6 oz. cream cheese
    1/2 cup butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar
    1/2 cup room temperature milk
    4 oz. unsweetened chocolate
    4 tbs. butter
    3 eggs
    2 1/4 cups flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 cup milk

    Cream cheese, 1/2 cup butter and vanilla. Beat in sugar and 1/3 cup milk. Blend in melted and cooled chocolate. Remove two cups, cover and refrigerate. Cream remaining chocolate mixture and butter. Add eggs and beat. Stir dry ingredients. Beat into creamed mixture alternately with remaining milk. Turn into two greased and floured layer pans. Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool in pans 10 minutes. Remove frosting 15 minutes and frost cake.
