1 cup chopped potato
1/2 cup chopped carrot
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
3 cups chicken broth
dash pepper
2 cups milk
1/2 cup flour
12 oz. American cheese
1 tbs. snipped parsley
Recipe
Cook vegetables in butter until tender but not brown. Add broth and pepper. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Blend milk and flour. Add cheese and parsley. Stir into chowder. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
