1 - 15 ounce can tender asparagus spears, drained
1 medium sweet onion, chopped very fine
1 cup tomato, seeded and skinned, chopped very fine
1 tablespoon lemon juice or lime juice
5 drops Tabasco sauce
1/8 teaspoon fresh ground white pepper
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 tablespoons finely minced fresh cilantro
Recipe
Blend asparagus in blender until smooth. Combine remaining ingredients. Refrigerate for several hours to blend flavors.
Serve with baked tortilla chips.
