    Grilled Sirloin Steak

    Source of Recipe

    Tasty & Light

    Recipe Introduction

    servings 6 points 6

    List of Ingredients

    6 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
    4-1/2 teaspoons brown sugar
4-1/2 teaspoons olive or canola oil
    4 garlic cloves, minced
    2 teaspoons ground cumin
    2 teaspoons ground coriander
2 pounds boneless beef top sirloin steak

    Recipe

In a bowl, combine the first six ingredients; mix well. Pour a fourth of the marinade into a large resealable plastic bag; add steak. Seal bag and turn to coat; refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight. Cover and refrigerate remaining marinade for basting.

Coat grill rack with nonstick cooking spray before starting the grill. Drain and discard marinade from steak. Grill, covered, over medium-hot heat for 5-6 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for rare, a meat thermometer should read 140°; medium, 160°; well-done, 170°), basting occasionally with reserved marinade. Yield: 6 servings.
