4 egg whites
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup whole-wheat flour
1 1/2 cups skim milk
2 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons applesauce
1 tablespoon safflower oil (or canola oil)
6 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt Recipe
Beat the eggs until fluffy.
Beat in remaining ingredients.
Heat griddle or skillet to 375 degrees (medium heat).
Pour 1/4 cup batter onto hot griddle.
Cook both sides until golden brown.
