    1/2 cup onion, chopped
    1/2 cup potatoes, chopped
    1 tsp. active dry yeast
    1-3/4 cups bread flour
    1/2 cup whole wheat flour
    1/4 tsp. onion salt
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 cup water

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 450°F. Place onion and potatoes in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover pan and steam 12-15 minutes or until tender. Transfer to a bowl and mash. All ingredients are measured for a small loaf and should be at room temperature. Add all ingredients in order specified for your bread machine. Set on standard setting, medium or normal baking cycle.

    This recipe serves 12 people. Due to the nature of this recipe, it adjusts the number of servings in multiples of 12 only.
