    Cream Cheese Frosting

    Recipe Introduction

    12 servings (enough to assemble an 8-inch two-layer cake)

    List of Ingredients

    1 lb. softened low-fat or fat-free fat cream cheese
    1/2 cup Splenda or Equal (or more to taste)
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
    2 tablespoons 2% skim milk
    Pinch of salt (optional)

    Recipe

    Cream the cream cheese and salt until smooth. Add the sugar and blend until smooth. Add the vanilla and stir until fully incorporated. Add milk until desired consistency is achieved. Use 3/4 of recipe for vanilla cake recipe.
