    Recipe Introduction

    servings 10
    points 2

    List of Ingredients

    1 package (10 ounces) extra-light flaky biscuits
10 (1-1/2-inch) fruit pieces, such as plum, apple, peach or pear
    1 egg white
    1 teaspoon water
    Powdered sugar (optional)

    Recipe

    1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Spray baking sheets with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.

    2. Separate biscuits. Place on lightly floured surface. Roll each biscuit with lightly floured rolling pin or flatten dough with fingers to form 3-1/2-inch circles. Place 1 fruit piece in center of each circle. Bring 3 edges of dough up over fruit; pinch edges together to seal. Place on prepared baking sheets.

    3. Beat egg white with water in small bowl; brush over dough.

    4. Bake until golden brown, 10 to 15 minutes. Remove to wire rack to cool. Serve warm or at room temperature. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired, just before serving.

Sweet Tooty Fruitys Prepare dough circles as directed. Gently press both sides of dough circles into granulated or cinnamon-sugar to coat completely. Top with fruit and continue as directed, except do not brush with egg white mixture or sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Cheesy Tooty Fruitys Prepare dough circles as directed. Top each circle with 1/2 teaspoon softened reduced-fat cream cheese in addition to the fruit. Continue as directed.
