    Chunky Chicken Noodle Soup

    List of Ingredients




    4 cups water
    8 (6oz) skinned chicken breast halves
    3/4 tsp poultry seasonings
    1/4 tsp dried thyme
    3 celery leaves
    2 cups water
    2 cups uncooked egg noodles
    1/2 cup sliced celery
    1/2 cup sliced carrot
    1/3 cup sliced green onions
    2 TBS minced fresh parsley
    1 1/2 tsp chicken flavored bouillon granules
    1/2 tsp pepper
    1 bay leaf

    Recipe



    Combine 1st 5 ingredients in a large pot and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 45 minutes or until chicken is tender. Remove chicken with a slotted spoon and let cook slightly. Remove bones from chicken and discard. Coarsely chop chicken and set aside. Skim fat from broth. Combine broth, 2 cups water, and next 8 ingredients in pan. bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes stirring occasionally. Discard bay leaf and sprinkle each serving with additional pepper if desired.
