    Old World Sausage and Beer Soup

    1 lb Italian turkey sausage links, cut into 1/4 inch slices
    3 cups water
    1 (12-oz) lite beer
    1 (1-oz) package dry onion soup mix
    2 cups purchased coleslaw blend
    1/2 cup inciiked instant brown rice

    Recipe



    In large saucepan, cook sausage over medium-high heat for 5 minutes or until browned, stirring occasionally, Drain

    Add water, beer and soup mix; mix well. Bring to boil. Add coleslaw blend and rice. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 5 to 7 minutes or until sausage is thoroughly cooked and rice is tender.
