MIXED PICKLING SPICE: this can be used as a replacement to pickling spices in any pickle recipe.


List of Ingredients




4 cinnamon sticks, broken into small pieces
1 1-inch piece dried gingerroot, chopped
2 tablespoons mustard seeds
2 teaspoons whole allspice
2 tablespoons black peppercorns
2 teaspoons whole cloves
2 teaspoons dill seed
2 teaspoons coriander seeds
2 teaspoons whole mace
8 bay leaves, broke into pieces
1 small dried hot pepper, chopped


Combine these items and store in an airtight container.
