    Honey-Glazed Chicken Drumsticks

    List of Ingredients

    3 tablespoons honey
    3 tablespoons Dijon-style mustard
    1 teaspoon lemon juice
    1 teaspoon finely shredded orange peel
    8 chicken drumsticks (about 2 pounds total)
    4 lemon wedges (optional)
    4 sprigs parsley (optional)

    Recipe

    For sauce, stir together honey, mustard, lemon juice, and orange peel. Set aside.


    Grill chicken on an uncovered grill directly over medium coals for 15 minutes. Turn chicken; grill for 20 to 30 minutes more or until chicken is tender and no longer pink, brushing with sauce during the last 10 minutes of grilling. If desired, garnish with lemon wedges and parsley. Makes 4 servings.


    To grill by indirect heat: Arrange preheated coals around a drip pan in a covered grill. Test for medium heat above pan. Place chicken on grill over drip pan. Cover and grill for 50 to 60 minutes or until chicken is tender and no longer pink, brushing occasionally with sauce during the last 10 minutes of grilling.
