    We are an instant gratification society. We seem to think we have to have everthing now. And the media doesn't help much. If you pay attention to the diet industry. You probably hear how simple it is to lose weight. If you follow a diet, take a pill, use a patch.... The weight will simply melt away. We see advertisements that this person lost X pounds in X days/weeks and we think we should do the same.

    Fast weight loss is unhealthy to begain with. You are doing more harm to your body, organs, etc.

    How much one person lost in so many weeks is not going to be the same for the next person. Even Weight Watchers has a disclaimer. "results not typical" There is no typical way to lose weight. You may lose one week, you may gain another week or you may stay the same.
    Even with all the Success Stories you read. They never tell you about the hard times they went through in their journey.

    Just remember why you joined Weight Watchers to begain with and never lose sight of it.

    While you are on your journey. It's not all about the numbers on the scales. It's the overall trend. (which way are the numbers going?)
