    List of Ingredients

Since Weight Watchers has limited us on how we can help other members by pulling our posts.

Weight Watchers Customer Service has asked us to inform you that the answer to your question can be found by reading your materials or online program information (The Plan)
    Or

Weight Watchers has brought it to our attention that we are breaking copyright rules. We are posting proprietary information regarding program information, POINTS® and products and websites. And giving out to much information.

Since Weight Watchers has been pulling posts/threads and sending out warning e-mails for such matters. because of proprietary information, Copyrighted.

    Weight Watchers has posted this.
This is a reminder that posting proprietary information regarding our products, program information and POINTS® is not permissible on the message boards. This information is available to paid subscribers and is also available to meetings room members in their printed materials.

This is a reminder that posting proprietary information regarding our products is not permissible on the message boards. This information is available to paid subscribers and is also available to meetings room members in their printed materials.

With regard to posting POINTS® values for different food items: Our policy is generally not to permit posting of specific POINTS values on our Community message boards. We believe that any unauthorized use of POINTS values infringes upon our proprietary rights. Moreover, we cannot insure that such uses provide accurate information to the public.

We suggest that subscribers and members use the tools we provide to look up or compute POINTS values (such as the online POINTS Tracker or POINTS calculator available to subscribers, or the printed materials, POINTSfinder® slide or handheld POINTS Calculator you may obtain from your Meetings location). If you wish to share information, please feel free to exchange nutritional information (e.g., calories, total fat, and dietary fiber) and allow others to calculate POINTS values using these tools.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

My take on this, (my opinion)
It's not the word POINTS they are really talking about, It's giving out the answers, (the totals)
You'll probably seen post pulled when people say, HU, Yahoo's, dodads, thingies, etc, etc. which all mean POINTS.
And which infringes upon their proprietary rights. Moreover, which cannot insure that such uses provide accurate information to the public.

As a paying member you are not paying for the message boards you are paying for the tools - the points tracker, recipe builder, points lists, etc.

It's true that the message boards are open to anyone. And it's WW's board. They can make whatever rules they want. Since they are free to the public.
How many times have you seen people ask for POINTS® and people answered with all kinds of different POINTS®? You'll even get that on a pay meassage board.

It would make sense for WW to have at least one board that is password protected for those who pay to be able to post. But then you would lose the wisdom of the lifers and those who go to meetings only or no longer go to meetings but know what they are talking about and you will continually have newbies who can't advise each other. It's a toss-up.

WW answer to deleted foods from the food tracker

    Message from WW:

We know you are unhappy to see some of your favorite foods removed from the site's database. There are several reasons why food items may be removed, including when a manufacturer declines to participate.

If a manufacturer declines to participate, we have no choice but to remove them from the database. In general, we are required to obtain permission from the manufacturers in order to include their items, and if they decline, we are not permitted to have their items in our database.
Unfortunately, adding or keeping food items in our database isn't as simple as reading the nutritional label on the package and inputting it into our database.

We also want to make you aware that there were many additions to the food database in the latest update. With over 20,000 active food items in our database and a Dining Out Companion with nearly 2,000 new and updated items, we provide the most comprehensive official POINTS® information available on the Web and we hope you'll continue to enjoy using the WeightWatchers.com site.
