Maudie's Crockpot Cornbread Dressing

- 4 1/2 cups cornbread crumbled
- 1 pkg herb stuffing mix (pepperidge farm 16 oz)
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup (10 3/4 oz each)
- 1 quart chicken stock
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2-1 cup celery, chopped
- 4 large eggs
- 2T rubbed sage
- 1/2 tsp salt (to taste)
- 1/2 tsp pepper (to taste)
- 1/2 stick butter, cut up
Instructions
- Stir together cornbread, stuffing mix, and next 8 ingredients in a large bowl.
- Pour cornbread mixture into a lightly greased slow cooker. Dot with butter. Cook, covered, on LOW for 4 hours or until cooked through and set.
