    List of Ingredients


    • 3/4 lb dry fettucine
    • 2T unsalted butter
    • 1 cup heavy cream
    • 1/3 cup chicken broth
    • 1 egg yolk
    • 1/3 cup parmesan, grated
    • salt and pepper to taste


    Instructions


    1. Bring a large pot of water to boil for the fettucine. Cook pasta according to package directions.
    2. Melt butter in large saute pan over medium heat just before pasta is done. Drain the fettucine, then add it to the melted butter, tossing to coat.
    3. Whisk the cream, broth, and yolk together, then stir into the pasta Increase heat to medium high heat and bring to a simmer, stirring often. Cook until thickened, about 3 minutes.
    4. Off heat, stir in parmesan and season with salt and pepper.
