1 qt. strawberries
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 PKG. Jello- red
1 c. cold water plus ice cubes
1 1/3 c. blueberries
1 pkg. (12 oz.) pound cake cut into ten slices
2 pkg. (8 oz. each) cream cheese
1/4 c. sugar
1 tub cool whip
Recipe
Slice 1 cup of strawberries and halve remaining strawberries.
Completely dissolve jello into boiling water. Add enough ice to cold water to measure 2 c. Add to jello. Stir until ice is melted.Refridgerate for five minutes.
Meanwhile: line 9x13 pan with cake slices. Stir sliced strawberries and 1 c. blueberries into jello mixture.
Stir over cake slices. Refridgerate for four hours.
Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Stir in cool whip. Spread over jello. Arrange berries to create flag.
