    1 Cup butter
    2 Cups sifted all purpose flour
    1/2 Cup sifted confectioners sugar

    Recipe



    Cream butter and gradually add sugar. Mix in flour until well blended. Pat dough on slightly greased baking sheet until it is about 3/4" thick. Pinch edge all the way around and prick all over with fork. Chill 1/2 hour. Bake at 375 degrees for 5 minutes. Reduce heat to 300 degrees and bake for about 45 minutes or until pale golden in color. Cut in pieces while warm.
