List of Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz) can of water chestnuts, drained and cut into 24 euqal pieces
- 1/4 Cup soy sauce
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
- 8 slices of bacon cut into 3 thirds
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together the water
chestnuts,soy sauce and sugar, mix well.
- Marinate for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Drain water chestnuts and discard
marinade.
- Wrap a piece of bacon around each and
secure with a toothpick.
- Place on abroiler pan or on a rack in
a shallow baking pan.
- Broil 4-6 inches from heat for 4-7 minutes
on each side until bacon is crisp.
- Makes 24 appetizers
Final Comments
Other ideas--Scollops, pineapple chunks, olives
or chicken livers that where marinaded in French
Dressing.
