SIFT TOGETHER:
2 CUPS FLOUR
2 CUPS SUGAR
PUT IN PAN AND BRING TO A BOIL:
4 TBSP COCOA
1 STICK MARGARINE
½ CUP CRISCO
1 CUP WATER
POUR OVER DRY INGREDIENTS.
STIR IN:
½ CUP BUTTERMILK 2 EGGS
1 TSP SODA 1 TSP CINNAMON
1 TSP SALT PINCH OF SALT
MIX WELL. POUR INTO SHALLOW PAN (JELLY ROLL PAN CAN BE USED.)
BAKE AT 400 DEGREES FOR 15-20 MINUTES.
FROSTING:
1 STICK MARGARINE
4 TBLSP COCOA
6 TBLSP MILK
POUR OVER 1 LB OF POWDERED SUGAR. ADD 1 TSP VANILLA. SPREAD WHILE WARM.
