1 CUP HEAVY CREAM
2 CUPS SIFTED FLOUR
MIX WELL AND CHILL DOUGH.
ROLL OUT DOUGH 1/8 INCH THICK OR MAKE SMALL BALL, ABOUT 1 INCH. ROLL BALLS IN SUGAR AND PLACE ON UNGREASED COOKIE SHEET. BAKE 7 - 9 MINUTES.
FILLING:
¾ CUP SOFT BUTTER
2 ¼ CUP SIFTED POWDER SUGAR
1 EGG YOLK
1 TSP VANILLA
BLEND FILLING. DIVIDE IN HALF AND ADD RED OR GREEN FOOD COLORING. ABOUT 2 TEASPOONS.
WHEN COOKIES ARE COOL, PLACE FILLING BETWEEN TWO WAFERS.
