My grandmother called this recipe Sh*t on a Shingle...you can change the name to whatever you like.
2 loaves rye party bread (the really tiny bread)
1 lb velveeta cheese
1 lb hot sausage
cook sausage, drain, crumble and set aside. Melt velveeta in sauce pan. Add sausage and mix well. (I also stir in a teaspoon or oregano). Spread mixture on party bread slices and place on baking sheet. Bake at 350 until browned. (bread will be slightly toasted).
ALSO TRY THIS:
1 pkg. cocktail sausage
bisquits
flatten bisquits and cut into three strips. Roll strips around sausages. Place on baking sheet and bake at 350 8-10 min. or until bisquits are cooked.
