4 lb. bologna
1-12 oz. can beer (optional)
bottled, smoky BBQ sauce, heated
Recipe
Remove skin from bologna, score lightly. Insert meat rod, roast on spit over charcoal for 1 hour or until heated through. Baste often with beer. During last 15 minutes, baste with BBQ sauce. Remove from spit, slice as a roast and serve. Yields 12-16 servings.
