    1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, softened
    1/4 cup GREY POUPON Spicy Brown Mustard
    1 loaf (16-inch) French bread, split lengthwise
    Italian seasoning, basil or oregano, (optional)



    Recipe




    SPREAD softened butter on cut surfaces of bread; spread with mustard. Sprinkle with herbs.
    BROIL 4 inches from heat source 3 to 5 minutes or until golden brown.
    SLICE; serve immediately.
