If you love Caramel Corn then you will love this recipe! It is a bit messy to make, but worth every bit of it! I made it for the first time last Fall and we ate it by the hand fulls.
1 cup butter
2 cups packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon baking soda
8 quarts popped corn
Recipe
1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees F.
2. Over medium heat, combine first 4 ingredients and boil for 5 minutes.
3. Remove from heat; stir in baking soda.
4. Stir well.
5. Pour over the popped corn.
6. Stir to coat well.
7. Bake in large roaster or pan for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
8. Spread on waxed paper to dry.
