    List of Ingredients


    • 1/4c. seasoned flour
    • 1 1/2 lb. round steak about 3/4 inch thick
    • 2T. shortening
    • 1 (10 1/2oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
    • 1/2 soup can water
    • 1/2c. sour cream, if desired


    Instructions


    1. Pound seasoned flour into steak with meat hammer. In large skillet, brown steak on both sides in shortening.
    2. Add soup and water. Cover; cook over low heat 45 mins. or until steak is tender. Stir often.
    3. Just before serving stir in sour cream.
    4. Servings: 4 to 6
