Steak in Sauce

List of Ingredients
- 1/4c. seasoned flour
- 1 1/2 lb. round steak about 3/4 inch thick
- 2T. shortening
- 1 (10 1/2oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 soup can water
- 1/2c. sour cream, if desired
Instructions
- Pound seasoned flour into steak with meat hammer. In large skillet, brown steak on both sides in shortening.
- Add soup and water. Cover; cook over low heat 45 mins. or until steak is tender. Stir often.
- Just before serving stir in sour cream.
- Servings: 4 to 6
