Steak with Wine and Cream Sauce

8 oz. Fresh mushrooms
5 tablespoons butter
Salt and pepper
4 slices filet of beef, 3/4 inch thick
¼ cup port wine or Shiraz
½ cup heavy cream
Recipe
Clean and cook mushrooms in 3 tablespoons butter until golden brown and then set aside but keep warm. Melt 2 more tablespoons in same skillet and cook steaks to desired doneness. Remove the steaks from skillet and keep warm also. In same skillet, pour wine in pan and scrape and stir to melt all steak juices. Add back in mushrooms with their juice and pour in cream. Heat but do not boil. Pour over steaks and serve immediately.
