    Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

    List of Ingredients


    • 1/3c. creamy or chunky peanut butter
    • 1/3c. butter, softened
    • 1 2/3 c. sifted confectioners sugar
    • 1 pkg. (12oz) semisweet or milk chocolate pieces, melted


    Instructions


    1. Place 36 (1 3/4 x 1 inch) foil or paper baking cups on tray or in miniature muffin cups.
    2. In medium bowl beat peanut butter and butter until blended. Gradually blend in sugar.
    3. Press with hands or roll 1/2 inch thick. Cut into 1 inch circles with cookie cutter.
    4. Spoon about 1/2t. melted chocolate into each foil cup to generoulsy cover bottom.
    5. Place a peanut butter circle on top of chocolate; gently push down to coat sides.
    6. Spoon additional chocolate into each cup to coat peanut butter mixture.
    7. Chill until firm. Store in refrigerator.
