1 c. buttermilk
3 c. sugar
1/2 white corn syrup
1 tsp. soda
1 stick margarine/butter
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. pecan halves


Recipe




Combine buttermilk and sugar, cook and stir until sugar melts. Bring this mixture to a boil, and then add corn syrup. Cook until mixture forms into a soft ball, then turn heat low and add the 1 teaspoon of baking soda. Add pecans, and cook for 5 minutes then add the margarine/butter and vanilla. Remove from heat.
