Cheesy Potato Casserole

- 1 (16 oz) pkg. American cheese, cubed
- 1 (2 lb) pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
- 2c. mayonnaise
- 1 white onion, chopped
- 1 (3 oz) jar bacon bits
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- In the microwave, melt cheese in a large microwave safe bowl. Stir in potatoes, mayonnaise, and onion.
- Spread in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish and top with bacon bits.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until hot and bubbly.
- Yield: 12 servings
