Chicken & Almonds

1/2 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped celery
2 cups chopped cooked chicken
1 1/2 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 tablespoons plain flour
pinch salt
440 grams tin chicken soup
1/2 tin milk
2 teaspoons soy sauce
190 gms tin buttered mushrooms
1/2 cup almonds
2 tablespoons oil.
Fry chopped onion in oil until soft. Add celery and chicken and
set aside. Melt butter and add flour and salt, then soup and milk
and mix until it boils and thickens. Add onion mixture plus soy
sauce and mushrooms. Spinkle 1/2 cup almonds over mixture, before
serving.
