Chiles Rellenos Bake

1 lb ground beef
1/2 c onion, chopped
1 t salt, divided
1/2 t black pepper
10 chiles poblanos, seeded/halved
4 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c milk
1/4 c flour
1 1/2 c asadero, shredded
taco sauce
Brown ground beef and onions in a skillet. Mix 1/2 teaspoon salt
and black pepper. Place half the chiles on bottom of 12 x 8" baking
dish. Top with meat mixture. Arrange remaining chiles on top.
Combine eggs, milk, flour and remaining salt until smooth. Pour
over chiles. Top with shredded cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for
45 minutes or until browned and knife inserted in center comes out
clean. Serve with taco sauce. Refrigerate unused portion in an
airtight container.
