    List of Ingredients


    • 3c. frozen hash browns (24 oz bag)
    • 3/4c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
    • 3/4c. shredded cheddar cheese
    • 1(4.5oz) can green chilies
    • 1 c. diced ham or bacon
    • 1/4c. sliced green onions
    • 4 beaten eggs
    • 1(12 oz) can evaporated milk
    • 1/4t. pepper
    • 1/8t. salt


    Instructions


    1. Grease a 2 qt. square baking dish. Arrange potatoes evenly in bottom of dish.
    2. Sprinkle with cheeses, ham, green chilies, green onions.
    3. In medium mixing bowl combine eggs, milk, pepper, salt.
    4. Pour over potatoes. (This can be made 1 day in advance and served)Cover and chill several hours. or overnight.
    5. May freeze. Serving day: thaw completely. Bake uncovered in 350 oven for 40-45 minutes or until center sets.
    6. Let stand 5 mins. before serving. If you prefer extra cheese can be sprinkled on top during last 15 mins. of baking.
