Italian Beef & Noodle Casserole

- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 (14oz) can tomatoes
- 1 (7 1/2oz) can tomato sauce
- 1/4c. parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 c. med. egg noodles
- 1c. sour cream
- 1 (8oz) pkg. cream cheese
- 6 green onions
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350. In a large frying pan, saute ground beef and garlic; drain off fat.
- Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, parmesan cheese and simmer 10 mins.
- Cook egg noodles, and toss with sour cream, cream cheese and green onions.
- Spoon half of the noodle cheese mixture into a greased casserole dish, top with half the meat mixture, add remaining noodles and top with remaining sauce.
- Bake covered for 30 mins.
- Makes: 6 servings.
- You can sprinkle on more parmesan cheese just before baking time is almost over, remove cover and let the cheese brown.
