1-pound hamburger
3-6 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
2-3 medium carrots, thinly sliced
2-medium onions, thinly sliced
salt and pepper to taste
1-(10 ounce) can peas (liquid included)
1-(12 ounce) can whole kernel corn or mixed vegetables
1-(10 ounce) can tomato soup, condensed
1/2-cup water
Fry hamburger in skillet and drain off fat. Set aside.
Place in greased 10 cup casserole 2-3 layers of potatoes, carrots, onions and peas. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Pour corn or mixed vegetables next and sprinkle cooked hamburger meat on top. Spread undiluted tomato soup over top of meat. Pour water into casserole. Bake covered at 350º for 1 hour. Remove cover and continue baking for 30 minutes, until vegetables are tender.
