List of Ingredients
- 1/4c. all purpose flour
- 1t. salt
- 1/4t. pepper
- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. beef round steak, trimmed
- 2T. vegetable oil
- 1c. chopped celery
- 1c. chopped onion
- 1/2lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1c. water
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1T. steak sauce
Instructions
- Combine flour, salt and pepper. Cut steak into serving-size pieces; dredge in flour mixture.
- In a skillet, brown steak in oil. Drain and place in a 2 1/2 qt. casserole.
- Top with celery, onion and mushrooms. Combine water, garlic and steak sauce; pour over vegetables.
- Cover and bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hours or until the meat is tender.
- Yield: 6 servings.
