1/2 lb. softened butter
1/2 lb. softened margerine
1 C. Sour Cream
4 Egg Yolks
5 C. Flour
1 pkg. yeast dissolved in 1/4 cup of warm water (only use half of the yeast mixture)
Sugar
Solo Pie Filling
Mix by hand: butter, margerine, sour cream & egg yolks until smooth.
Mix in yeast - blend well.
Slowly add in the flour. (if dough is sticky, knead in more flour)
Cover and refrigerate over night.
Next day: Make small balls no bigger then a quarter.
Roll out balls with a rolling pin on parchmant paper sprinkled with sugar.
Put a small dab of filling in the center of each. Fold each over in half and pinch up both ends.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in 350 oven for 20 min. or until golden.
Remove from cookie sheet immediately and place on flat surface covered with foil.
Yields: 9 Dozen
