Burger 'n Bean Hot Dish

1 pound ground beef
16 oz can barbecue beans
1 can condensed bean with bacon soup
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1 tablespoon instant minced onion
1/2 cup shredded American cheese
In skillet, brown ground beef; drain well. Thoroughly combine all
ingredients except cheese in Crock-Pot. Cover and cook on Low for
6 to 9 hours. Just before serving, sprinkle with shredded cheese.
Serve over hot cornbread, if desired.
