- 6 pork chops
- 2 med. onions, sliced
- 1t. instant chicken bouillon granules
- 12 oz. beer
- 1/4t. crushed thyme leaves
- 1/3c. cold water
- 3T. flour
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- Salt and pepper the chops; sear over high heat until browned. Place chops in crockpot.
- Lay sliced onions over chops. Dissolve chicken bouillon in beer; stir in thyme and pour over chops.
- Cover and cook on low 8-10 hrs.
- To make gravy: Skim fat from cooking liquid; place cooking liquid in a saucepan.
- In a jar, combine cold water with flour. Whisk into cooking liquid, stirring constantly until it comes to a boil.
- Boil 1-2 mins. Serve over rice, noodles, or mashed potatoes.
