    Pork Chops In Brew

    List of Ingredients


    • 6 pork chops
    • 2 med. onions, sliced
    • 1t. instant chicken bouillon granules
    • 12 oz. beer
    • 1/4t. crushed thyme leaves
    • 1/3c. cold water
    • 3T. flour
    • salt and pepper


    Instructions


    1. Salt and pepper the chops; sear over high heat until browned. Place chops in crockpot.
    2. Lay sliced onions over chops. Dissolve chicken bouillon in beer; stir in thyme and pour over chops.
    3. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hrs.
    4. To make gravy: Skim fat from cooking liquid; place cooking liquid in a saucepan.
    5. In a jar, combine cold water with flour. Whisk into cooking liquid, stirring constantly until it comes to a boil.
    6. Boil 1-2 mins. Serve over rice, noodles, or mashed potatoes.
