SQUASH MEDLEY

8 unpeeled yellow squash, thinly sliced
1/2 tsp. salt
2 chopped tomatoes
1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
1/4 cup sliced green onion
1 cup chicken broth
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs
Sprinkle sliced squash with salt. In crockpot, arrange alternate
layers of squash with tomatoes, green pepper, and onions. Pour
broth over. Top with bacon, then bread crumbs. Cover pot and cook
on LOW for 4 to 6 hours.
