Tangy Pork Chops

6 pork chops, 1/2 inch thick
1/2 teaspoon salt, optional
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 medium onion, sliced
2 ribs celery, chopped
1 large green pepper, sliced
1 can stewed tomatoes, 14 1/2 ounces
1/2 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 beef bouillon cubes
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons water
Place chops in a slow-cooker; sprinkle with salt & pepper. Add
the onion, celery, green pepper, and tomatoes. Combine ketchup,
vinegar, sugar, worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and bouillon
cube; pour over vegetables. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours.
Mix cornstarch and water until smooth; stir into liquid in slow-cooker.
Cover and cook on high for 30 min. or until thickened.
