Buttermilk Pie

9-inch unbaked pie crust
1 3/4 cups sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c butter
3 T flour
1 c buttermilk
1 T vanilla
Set oven to 350F.
Place in a double boiler the sugar, eggs, butter, flour, buttermilk
and vanilla.
Stir over heat about 5-10 minutes, until all ingredients are
melted. Pour into pie crust and bake for about 40 minutes, or
until the filling is golden or light brown and firm.
