Chocolate Layer for Pies

1/2 cup chocolate chips
3 Tbsp butter, unsalted
1/2 Tbsp light corn syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
In a small saucepan, melt chocolate chips with butter and corn
syrup over medium heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate is
completely melted and smooth. Remove from heat and cool. Stir in
vanilla.
