I'm not a cake eater but this cake is wonderful!!!
List of Ingredients
- Cake:
- 4 eggs
- 2c. sugar
- 2 sticks soft butter
- 1 1/2c. flour
- 4T. cocoa
- 1 or 2c. chopped nuts
- 2t. vanilla
- 1 small bag marshmallows
- Icing:
- 1 box confectioners sugar
- 4T. cocoa
- 1/2c. evaporated milk
- 4T. melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350. Mix by hand the eggs, sugar, and butter.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, cocoa, chopped nuts, and vanilla.
- Add this to the egg mixture. Bake in well greased and floured pan for 20-25 mins.
- When done, cut large marshmallows in half and place on cake while hot.
- Return to oven for a few minutes more. Combine all icing ingredients and stir until smooth.
- Pour icing over hot cake and marshmallows.
- Yield: 9x13 cake
