Kentucky Bourbon Pecan Cake

1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
6 eggs
3-1/2 cups sifted cake flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
2/3 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons nutmed
1 cup bourbon
3 cups seeded raisins
4 cups pecan pieces
1/2 cup cake flour, sifted
Cream butter, ad sugar gradually and cream until fluffy.
Add egg yolks. Beat well.
Sift dry ingredients together several times.
Add alternately with Bourbon to creamed mixture.
Drench raisins and nuts in the half cup flour and add to creamed mixture.
Bake in loaf pans lined w ith buttered paper, 350 degrees for one hour.
Cool ten minutes in pans.
Turn out on wire rack and cover with icing and pecans.
