Peanut Butter Cupcakes

1/2 cup Shortening
1/2 cup Peanut butter
1-1/2 cups Brown sugar
2 Eggs, beaten
1 tsp. Vanilla
1-1/2 cups Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
2 tsp. Baking powder
2/3 cup Milk
Sift together the flour, salt, and baking powder.
Then put the first 5 ingredients into a large bowl and blend well.
Add flour mixture and milk alternately and beat well. Pour into greased cupcake tins.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes in a 350º oven.
Frost with a simple powdered sugar frosting, adding 1 Tsp peanut butter.
Spread on warm cupcakes.
