• 3c. flour
  
• 1/4t. cloves
  
• 1/2t. nutmeg
  
• 1 1/2t. cinnamon
  
• 1t. baking powder
  
• 1/2t. baking soda
  
• 1t. salt
  
• 1/2c. butter
  
• 1c. sugar
  
• 1 egg
  
• 1t. vanilla
  
• 1c. applesauce
  
• 1/4c. chopped nuts
  






Instructions



1. In a large bowl, cream butter, sugar, and egg until light and fluffy.
   
2. Add vanilla and applesauce. Sift together flour, spices, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; add to sugar and egg mixture until well blended.
   
3. Stir in nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet and bake for about 12 mins. at 375.
