1 lb. hamburger
1 bag Fritos corn chips
16 oz. shredded cheese
1 large onion, chopped
1 head of lettuce, chopped
3-4 tomatoes chopped
2 8 oz. cans tomato sauce
1 C. water
Salt and pepper to taste
Garlic, onion powder to taste
Recipe
On a large platter, layer Fritos, 1/3 of the cheese, lettuce, and tomato. Top with the second third of the cheese. Brown hamburger meat, and add chopped onion. Drain well. Return to skillet. Add salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder. Add tomato sauce, water, and the rest of the cheese. Stir well and simmer 5 to 10 minutes. Pour hot meat mixture over entire platter and serve immediately.
