    List of Ingredients

    1/2 C. crunchy peanut butter
1/3 C. butter or margarine, softened
    3/4 C. sugar
3/4 C. packed light brown sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 C. unsifted all purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt

    FROSTING:

    1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1/3 cup milk
    2 1/2 confectioners' sugar

    Recipe

In a large bowl, stir together crunchy peanut butter and butter until creamy. Gradually beat in sugars. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Stir into peanut butter mixture. Spread batter into a greased 13x9-inch pan. Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for 30 minutes. Cool in pan.

For frosting, beat together creamy peanut butter and vanilla. Beat in 2 tablespoons milk and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Gradually beat in remaining sugar and milk until smooth and of a spreading consistency. Use to frost cooled peanut butter bars. Cut into 24 equal pieces.
