    • 1 chocolate cake mix
    • 1 (8oz ) cream cheese, softened
    • 1/3c. sugar
    • 1 egg
    • dash of salt
    • 1(6oz) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips


    Instructions


    1. Mix cake according to directions on box. Place paper baking cups in muffin pans and fill 2/3 full.
    2. Mix the cream cheese with the sugar; beat in egg and salt.
    3. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop one rounded teaspoonful of cheese mixture into each cupcake.
    4. Bake according to pkg. directions. Frost with your favorite icing.
